I'm sure you can, but what about over an hour of complex music containing no "grooves" or repeated patterns? Classical scores are beasts. For the record I play jazz and memorize everything and play by ear. I also play in a brass band and although I end up memorizing much of the music to fully memorize it would take more time and effort than I have available. Top soloists absolutely memorize everything though. Lang Lang doesn't use sheet music when he performs.

I listened to Affluenza, i don’t like it at all sorry😅 it’s kind of strange because the voice of the singer is kind of low and the guitar sounds as loud as the voice? idk how to explain it. well, for me i just don’t like that the instrument kind of hides the voice and the loudness.

Late to the party, but it might be a situation where certain songs fit your current level of vocal abilities better than others. This could be caused from the vocal style or key of the song you’re singing.

If anyone says you’re a good singer, then you have some abilities already. Taking lessons will help refine your technique.

It’s not necessarily true that narrative.

I was fortunate to meet Jimmy Chamberlin of Smashing Pumpkins fame a couple years back and when prompted about the band and success he said that the band weren’t like there peers in the alternative scene looking down on the mainstream and that they deliberately wanted to be a big popular band.

Both songs from the same album (Stoner Witch) from 1994. Theyve been around 30+years. they are very much "heavy on the heavy" and are known for their rhythmic complexity and unique song compositions. unique vocals. singer looks like sideshow bob, laughs like crusty. almost all of their songs are heavy, while only a few (they have a LOT of album) sound similar. some of their best live performances were the double drummer years.

I listened to Take a Walk, not bad, i actually would think it’s nice if i heard it on the radio for example but it doesn’t feel different, i feel like i’ve listened songs like this one very often. I’ve also listened to Sleepyhead bc I didn’t want to end the review like this haha. This one is not for me, definitely, but it’s different for sure. It’s trying to give me good vibes but I’m not really vibing. I would say it can be interesting for people who like electronic-alternative songs.

I listened to Mykonos. This is something that I think I would actually listen to. It sounds very relaxing and it has like old time vibes idk. I like the choice of instruments too. Very good, I will keep listening!

i will only listen one song of each artist (probably the top song on spotify) from now on bc there are so many comments lol. From Fartbarf I listened to Homeless in Heathrow. Haha honestly I’m confused right now, I don’t know if I love this or hate it, the synth or whatever it’s called it’s pretty interesting (sorry guys I don’t know specific music terms). I may try to find more songs of this artist. I think it has interesting sounds but I personally don’t love it.
