And normally that’s what I’d tell other people too. It’s just that being there for their small shows in front of 300 people, watching their rise, being excited for it and then having it culminate into a Jäegermeister sponsorship with subpar albums that didn’t compare to their early years was so anticlimactic and disappointing.

I’m not going to go around saying you’re wrong for liking their music or Portugal. The Man should care about what I think because they absolutely should not and they made it. Thats great for them. They are living their dream so good for them. With that being said, I’m not about to stay silent on a public forum when someone says “they never miss.” They have certainly missed more than once. But to end on a positive, I think it’s great they are making news by spotlighting indigenous rights. At the end of the day, that matters most and they didn’t miss on that.

The web caters to the well-known: big names, big hits. For the rest, sometimes you can be lucky and hit a fan page, but very often you aren't.

I can be very underground, for instance trying to find the lyrics of a song in the Shetland dialect. Some traditional music groups have disappeared before the web became a thing. The wee bit of paper is the only information I would ever have.

Alright mate, you do you. I knew what the Clash were about, the slogan is well known even to me. That still doesn’t change my opinion, they weren’t the best and thinking about it all this crowing about them makes me think they were pretty lame really. I was merely enquiring out of curiosity, but you want to go all James Bond on me, that’s fine. It’s not like I wanted to take you to dinner or anything, at the time it seemed relevant. But much like this conversation it’s now become irrelevant. Much like the Clash are.

I love the beggining so much until minute 1:06, but just because I'm not into the deep angry guitar thing. Even if I don't like that little part I think it's so good honestly, I loved everything else :)

I don't know which song I listened to hahah because I didn't see the name there but it was nice to listen to since it kind of made me remember of the festivities in my town, it has this feeling of old celebrations at random towns. Cool!

I already know a some songs like Should I Stay or Should I Go. Now I listened to London Calling to give a better opinion and yes I like this band a lot. Which one is your favourite song from them?

I listened to Work This Time, wow it's so good! it's strange because there's like a weird effect as if the sound came from an old radio (I hope it's not my headphones lol). It gives the song a different feeling. Incredible! I will continue listening for sure

Hahah of course I'm fine bc in fact I'm spanish lol. I liked both songs from Caramelos de Cianuro, really good discovery. About Canvas The Town, at first I didn't like it so much, because of the weird pace and sounds, but after the first minute I started getting into it. So nice recommendations! :)

I already knew this group and I love it so much! I found Alrighty Aphrodite and Shampoo Bottles on Spotify once, and I listened to them so many times. Private Presley is so precious too. I think their sound is very unique and you can listen to them at any time.

instead of a wee bit of paper you have at your fingertips wikis, forums, interviews (in various forms), live performances, tutorials, tabs, sheet music, reviews, covers, archives, academic papers, artist's websites and social media accounts, and any number of other websites and accounts posting information, related art and discussion.

I don't know how underground you're going that you don't get a least a half decent chunk of that.
