The major label debut by Mushroomhead "XX" is a compilation that plays like an album.

Cool story. Don't care. Phil Anselmo is still a neo-Nazi. You can't just hand wave that. I couldn't possibly care less about what the rest of the band has said about him, they're still associating with a self-identified, flag waving neo-Nazi. Get bent about it. They're being canceled for a damned good reason. Cry about it.

No. Phil Anselmo, their singer, is an idiotic piece of shit who is responsible for the infamous "white power" incident. This didn't even happen at a Pantera concert FFS. It has nothing to do with the band at all. Yes, I'm, sure you saw the article floating around recently that for Pantera's reunion tour some stops are being canceled. Congrats! You are capable of mindlessly regurgitating reddit headlines.
The entire band is certainly not neo-nazis. They are literally on record calling him an idiotic piece of shit.
I suggest you actually do more than just repeat things you see other people saying on reddit.
Besides all of that, it is completely possible to separate the artistic works of a person/group, from the politics of the person/group.
I suggest you self reflect and try to grow a little--because Pantera fucking rocks.
Also, youre a confirmed troll with a username like ursa_mid.

I have. I agree they are good, they just never hit me the way they get others. I have a couple mates that are very deep down the wormhole and love clutch obsessively.

Yeah, I like this. You should write their marketing slogans "crazy person who sounds like they're having a complete mental breakdown"

They are actually really cool. getting sludge sabbath and Suicidal Tendencies vibes.

Thanks for this!

Chat Pile just put out their debut album a few months ago, it's great if you like your rock really noisy and sung by a crazy person who sounds like they're having a complete mental breakdown

I’d suggest Youngblood by Marcus King, his newest album. Very 70s rock and roll feel to it.

Thank You Scientist - prog rock with a horn section, some metal elements, catchy hooks and all clean vocals. IMHO, they are the best rock band to have come out since the 90’s.
https://youtu.be/fpmMTPDpgPc
A few others that I love:
Tesseract (prog-Metal)
Coheed and Cambria (prog)
Alexisonfire (post-hardcore)
Rise Against (punk - earlier stuff, melodic hardcore)
Cam Cole (blues-rock, one man band)
God Is An Astronaut (post-rock, no vocals)
