It's a long shot, but The Greatest Story Ever Told by Balaam & the Angel has been my go to album for decades. My favorite bands range from Zappa & SOAD, to Yello, the Residents & A Certain Ratio, but there's something pretty special about Balaam & the Angel, and it's all in this one album.

In truth, they are one of the only acts I can think of where extended time period between albums doesn’t equate to garbage output. So, cheers to them!

Tool are great, but not sure about deep dive given the limited output over 3+ decades. Unless you just want to talk endlessly about fettuccine sequins.

Reply to Why is Pantera's Reinventing The Steel album always ranked dead last out of the 5 albums Pantera did in the 90s-2001? by Sink_Key
I’ll be honest, I’ve never listened to that album despite being a Pantera fan since the mid 90s.
You may be right about this, I’ll check out these songs. Unlike you, I do think Pantera is hit and miss on all of their albums, but man do I love the hits.

Miles Davis. The Velvet Underground. Frank Zappa. King Crimson. Rush. The Clash.
If you like listening to live music, there is enough Grateful Dead and Phish shows available that it would take years to listen to it all.

Saw Queen a few days before Xmas at the L.A. Forum. Last show of the tour. For the encore Santa came out struggling with a sack. Freddie jumped out in a glitter suit.
Also at the forum, saw Peter Gabriel fall backwards into the first row and got passed all the way to the back of the floor and back up to the stage.
