Hipsters on the internet made it cool to hate on Nu Metal and Post-Grunge, so alot of younger folks don't even bother checking it out, sadly. I've been diving back into alot of late 90s/early 2000s rock lately, and love it even more now.

Any Brad fans here? Shame is a nearly perfect album but Bad for the Soul is awful.

Fair enough. I just don't like it.

"S.C.I.E.N.C.E." by Incubus
Someone else mentioned "The Mollusk" by Ween which is also great.

The Police - Synchronicity
So many great songs. And then that charmless obscenity “Mother” comes on and I want to stuff icepicks into my eardrums…

I dunno. In retrospect I’ve kinda come to appreciate bound 2. Mainly because of the Seth Rogan James Franco vid

Mine is people going crowd surfing in poor clothing choices, with boots and anything dangling being particular hates. If I had a quid for the number of times I've been kicked in the back of the head by someone wearing steel toecaps I'd not be rich but I could probably buy a couple of pints of terrible lager, which brings me onto...
Terrible booze sponsorship deals. I detest Tuborg. And carlsberg. Stop making them the only available beers.

- Bands playing smaller venues or opening acts will sometimes hang out at the merch table after (or even before) the show. I was able meet quite a few artists and get some stuff signed that way. They've always been genuinely appreciative when someone buys a CD or poster or an enamel pin in the most direct way possible. Kinda hit and miss though-- you may get the legendary guitarist, you may get the keyboardist hired for this leg of the tour only, you may get nobody.

I want to know how to make music, the problem is that I don't know where to start. I just have an old guitar, so I think that is my instrument.

Maybe I need to give them more listens. Just never stood out to me. I do love Seen Not Seen tho. That backbeat with the weird lyrics over. Amazing

Someone mentioned Automatic for the People by REM in the comments. One of my favorite albums, but I’ve never really enjoyed Star Me Kitten. Every other track is great, but that one breaks up my experience. At least it leads into one of the finest final three tracks on any album, Man on the Moon, Nightswimming, and Find the River.

Best song on the record. Andy Summers rules.
