Lana generally sings about toxic dreams; driving off into the sunset with poisonous men and reaching for fame and fortune like in the movies. The sadness she delivers that with highlights the absurdity and tragedy of that American Dream, and that's what virtually all her songs are about. Certainly not for everyone I guess.

Pusha T has been consistently putting out good albums and EPs over the past 5-7 years.
Alchemist & Roc put out an awesome album last year.
Danger Mouse & Black Thought's collab last year was really good.
Lots of rappers in their 40s and 50s are putting out really quality stuff right now.

Liveā¦In The Heart Of The City/Whitesnake-Before Coverdale made Whitesnake a hair band; they were a blues rock band! A fabulous one at that!

This is probably Opeth's best song, which is saying something. It's basically a masterpiece.

Absolutely, goddamn that album is a banger. Definitely gonna have to give it a listen today.
I'm Trying also always gives me goosebumps...wish they'd included Disconnected on it, would have made it a perfect album.

Same about DMB.
Now I listen to Live From Central Park, because I was there. 5 people back. Maybe the best show I've seen, not just DMB, and I have a really eclectic taste in music.
