you’ll get it. You’ll be older eventually and the feels of being young and free will reflect when you’ll hear this song either un/comfortably depending on what your future choices will be.

I’m 20. I don’t listen to anything mainstream. I like mostly 90s and 00s numetal and rock

Are you thinking of a tanpura? That's the drone string type sound found in a lot of Indian music.

I recently saw Donald at the Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank. A M A Z I N G. lots of warm-up jazz, then he riffed into it. One after another. WoW. Just like it was in the studio. 14 musicians/singer accompaniment.

You start getting used to Lott's rhythmic psalm-like chant, the soft keys and the gradual addition of new sonic layers. An uncertainty creeps up on you as the song is reduced to a low warble. Then it slams you in the face with a deafening wall of glitched frantic drum beats, high-pitched operatic singing, and melodies that threaten to drown the singer out. The storm does pass, only to return again later, but Lott continues his chant, never wavering.

Thanks for the suggestion.
I just wanted to see anything good I may have missed last year. There’s probably lots of fav album list on Reddit already so don’t want to add to the pile 😅

The fact that no one else sounds like them makes this a valid assertion.

True. Was once a derogatory term. Less so now. These guys and the musicians they enlist are jazz and funk mofos.

I saw Motörhead on Ace Of Spades tour but round about that time health and safety started to monitor the noise and capped it . It was a proud boast that they had beaten the previous nights noise record. I think it was over 130 dbs at the Manchester gig . A testament to this was most of my mates were half deaf at school the following day. The loudest gig I can remember was Ted Nugent on Scream Dream tour it was ridiculously loud.

Still a dildo. They named their band after a dildo.

They’re neither of those. Schlock rock, maybe. A&R rock. Lol. Boring rock.
