Foxy Shazam
Rock band, somewhat Queen-like. They have changed a lot from the early days, to the middle days, to now.
Early days were (I'm not good with various genre names, so take these loosely) screamo, middle days were the Queen-like rock, and afterwards they went Gonzo.
Larger than life live shows, if you happen to attend one.
For me, the sweet spot is the Self-Titled album and it's follow-up, The Church of Rock & Roll. That would be albums 3 and 4, if you include their self released first album The Flamingo Trigger.
Anyway, basically no one ever reports back to me whether or not they've actually listened to the band after I suggest them, but they are awesome and deserve to be heard.

Wrong. Slipknot has stood the test of time due to their music, if their music wasn't as good as it was they would be like Mushroomhead, another Nu Metal band that wore masks and had extra drummers.
What publicity stunts and relationships have Coldplay done? You sure you didn't mean Ye right?
And AFI never sold out they just changed styles and punks don't like that.

It also changes with one's mood. I could be driving and wish you were here will pop on. I'll tear up from missing my kids and the song has a meaning...to me. The same as something uplifting or funny like a Tom Waits song or when you're feeling rough around the edges, Iggy Pop does the trick for me

I've got two here - one is a double and the other is a triple!
Quality Over Opinion - Louis Cole. It is quite an acquired taste and some of the songs on there are weak but the songs that are good are very, very good.
Empire Central - Snarky Puppy. These guys are basically jazz, rock, funk and world music in one huge explosion and it's awesome.
Both albums I would highly recommend :)

I’m more interested in focusing on the production side - so likely other peoples. I am considering getting a business administration or marketing masters. Thanks for the advice

Jazz Rock, I’d probably say. But to be fair, there isn’t really an easy way to describe their music. It’s so damn innovative.

Tons of great artists never achieved commercial success. There was a band called Supafuzz out of Lexington Kentucky. Great rock band, great lyrics, cool rock riffs, and they didn’t really sound like anyone else. Got a little radio play but never took off. I saw them at a club with maybe ten people in the audience and they rocked it like they were in a stadium. They just didn’t have the money behind them to get that big push.
