Make sure you listen to 'Close to the Edge' by Yes. It's considered by a lot of people to be one of the greatest progressive rock songs ever written or maybe that's just me :).

YouTube Music. Play a track that you like, and see what comes up in the automated play list. Great way to discover new music.

Music all depends on your taste and age, and where you live its impossible to recommentd a tune to someone you know nothing about or where they are from .

I don't even listen to rap but the song "Nobody does it better" and "Regulators" are GD masterpieces.
Rap songs today should be ashamed due to these two.

Hybrid Theory is their most successful work and in my opinion their best but Minutes to Midnight is a good starting point if you haven’t listened to them before because it’s a pretty good mixture of all the different sounds they explored during their career and is poppy and easily accessible.

As someone who wanted to get into lysflath I'd say give it a few listens in the background. The album is great for that. And if you feel bored at any point (last few minutes of static it was for me) feel free to pause and continiue later.

Like others are saying, it sounds like you've got a really weird obsession, of the OCD variety, and could possibly get this thing straightened out.
You're also missing out on so, so much good music, including tons of positive and powerful songs that use these topics in their narrative in a positive way, or as something to overcome.
Only peripherally related to your question, and I suspect FAR more frequent, is what I do: I'm a lifelong metalhead, and I simply don't/can`t listen to music with negative, as in morally/ethically, messages (i.e., condoning certain forms of violence, racism, sexism, etc.,). My strong distaste for this sort of think ranges from "eww, that's lame I don't think I like/respect this song/band that much" to "I absolutely won't listen to anymore of these losers".

Yeah I like viet cong/preoccupations' stuff but I definitely miss Chris Reimer and Pat flegel, I feel like they added so much to Women with their weird dissonant guitar melodies and ambient stuff. Cindy Lee's stuff is also pretty cool but definitely more abstract.

You'd enjoy Lord of the Lost. Great metal band with some nuances of the 80s that we all love. Not to mention, they're loud and proud in standing for human rights. A factor that I appreciate.
