I actually went to their showing and had such a blast. They're not even a band I liked very much, or listen to often but my lady and her sister invited me so we went, and like I said it was really cool. Excellent singer. They've gained a newfound respect from me and now we jam out even harder every time they come on

Yes and no...The Beatles wrote most of the songs that made them big in the first place. They then used their position and influence to move the needle which ever way they felt like going. So regardless of whether the songs would have been as popular with someone else...the fact that The Beatles did it meant everyone else was going to do it too.

Submersed.

They were a promising hard rock band on a major label with a gig touring with Alterbridge in the mid-2000's, but because of the rapid decline of hard rock's mainstream popularity in the mid-2000's, they never got the success they deserved. They released only two albums before disbanding.

Fortunately, some of their members are still active. The lead guitarist and drummer are now in Tremonti, and the singer joined forces with the original band members of Tantric/Days Of The New to form the band, Blisskrieg. Submersed was awesome as a unit though, and I still miss 'em.
