Cherub Rock- Smashing Pumpkins on Siamese Dream
The intro builds, adding more elements and then it explodes into a beautiful wall of guitar fuzz, and you're off.

Start with happy or upbeat or positive playlists, search Spotify or youtube. Listen to some playlists, decide what genres and artists and styles you prefer, expand your listening from there.

I would really suggest the strokes, the voidz, Mozart mgmt, two door cinema club, foster the people, and vampire weekend. It won’t disappoint.

Sonic Youth has a knack for killer openers, like “Dirty Boots” and “Tom Violence”. But this one takes the cake.

You’re not “mentally insane” based on this alone. Oliver Sacks did a lot of research into the brain and music you might find interesting

Right cuz no one did industrial before Orgy. Pretty weak argument ending with practically agreeing with my statement. Cool dood.

Go wherever you wanna go from American Kid by Patty Griffin. It's about her dad dying but it fitted perfectly to me losing my dog I couldn't listen to it for yrs because of that.

I’ve listened to both artist discography numerous times. While the pre Julian K era of Orgy might compliment Deadsy well on tour, they’re certainly different bands. The song writing, hardware, aesthetic, are all different. Their only real overlap is that they use synths over rock. By that measure, anyone doing industrial is copying Orgy.

Try playing playlists on your tv to set a mood. This is generally a good way to start. I was always a fan of listening to smooth jazz playlists, usually coffee shop type playlists. The mood they set might warm you over to music
Or any other type of music. Just ask yourself what mood or atmosphere you enjoy. Coffee shops, libraries, foreign places, or even alien space ships (lol, but cyrochamber has some great ones for these types of things).
