Oh yeah I've heard him. It's pretty neat. I don't think I could do repeated listens but certainly worth checking out and maybe seeing live.
As for Apocalyptica, symphonic metal has actually been pretty well established since I think the late 90s! Fun genre though.

Knocked Loose - A Tear In the Fabric of Life
It's an EP, not an album, but it's the most incredibly pissed off piece of music I've ever heard in my life.

Darn I was hoping it was actually cosmic sounding. It's very pleasant but, for me, still pretty standard sounding. Still good though.

My aunt used to run a record store many many years ago in Lex KyâŚ.it was always such a good experience to hear music I wouldâve never heard before. Listening to so many different genres has given me a serious appreciation of a lot of great music and Iâm lucky to have had that.

Huh...what is that like a low fi, chill, funk? It's like if the song Redbone were a whole band.

Thereâs a song by Alestorm that may help
As for albums, try the album âNothingâ by Meshuggah. The song I linked is quite lovely.
And after youâve listened to that, watch this, for a good laugh.
Edit:
Solitude by Cloudkicker. Good for the soul.

Ok that was pretty cool. Got a little bit of Greydon Square feel from that one. I like.

I love Dub, so this is a bit tricky, since that's the origins of the genre.

But I'll go with Massive Attack v Mad Professor- Weather Storm

Peter Gabriel's Us has gotten me through some rough patches. It's great to listen to at any time, but especially when you want to let the music in and have it go to work for you.
Some sweet, dreamy, and sometimes sad album recs:
Song to a Seagull, Joni Mitchell
Parallelograms, Linda Perhacs
There Are No Saints; Plastic Grave, Siobhan Wilson
Future Games, Fleetwood Mac (the title track, maybe not so much. Everything else, I recommend đ)
Never For Ever; Aerial, Kate Bush
Hope some of these help! Take your time healing inside and out â¤ď¸
