No you didn't. You said pitch and speed. It's right there. You can't slow something down without effectig the speed. It is impossible. In music "tempo" is speed, so saying "tempo and speed" is redundant. And you can't effectively effect speed without effecting tempo since they are the same thing.

Doesn't matter. There are old artists which aren't that popular nor have many tracks. Some made a few albums here and there and quit. Also nowhere to be found in most musical databases.

There's a genre called Bass House, which is quite new and different from Bassline House. But this is kinda too melodical for Bass House. Everything seems to be fully electronic in this one, including distorted guitar sounds. Best sources to look for genres of tracks are; Discogs, Wikipedia, Beatport, Traxsource and Bandcamp. I can't find this one anywhere.

I can't check the exact genre because I can't find the song nor the artist in any popular database. But from what I hear, it's a simple beat quite typical for Electro House. So initially, I would say it's Electro House.

That solo on "St. Elmo's Fire" is maybe my favorite of all time.
