The Stanley Cups were originally designed and manufactured by Tiffany, which was based in Newark. I learned that during a tour of an awesome museum. In Newark that is housed in a 200 year old mega-awesome mansion.

Reply to Is it possible to sightsee the Statue of Liberty with a 2.5 hour layover at the EWC Airport? by LikeJambaJuice
No. A 2.5 hour layover is really a 1.5 hour layover considering international flights board 1 hour before the scheduled departure.
Liberty State Park would be the best view for the statue and that would be a 30-40 ride in Friday rush hour traffic. That's 1 hour and 20 minute round trip. Once you get back to the airport, you then have to go through security again, at Newark Airport, on a Friday when everyone want to get out of town for the weekend.
There's no chance you can make it to the statue and back in time.

Crime is trending up nation wide in deep red and blue areas , places with strict policing and places without... A lot of it is tied to Mental Health and certain politicians egging on the mentally unstable.

2.5 international layover?
I'd stay in the terminal and take up plane spotting.

They'd be assholes too if their unscheduled, unpermitted parade blocked a major highway.

Relax. It’s a major election in a democracy of 220 million people happening today (sunday). I guarantee if 10,000 Minnesotans moved to a single neighborhood In Rio de Janeiro, the Americans would be importing their holidays and big events too

Interesting but wouldn't drones be a better and more cost effective way to do this?

It certainly has . They are down about a thousand officers. I just had some incidents in downtown recently ( shop widow cracked by people fighting), and before that 2 weeks ago the same widow was cracked by some fucktard. Police only showed up after the perpetrators left, almost like that every time you call NPD l. I talked to the officers very upset, i almost yelled at them. They told me to calm down and explained to me how it's only two officers patrolling the downtown area (from symphony hall to broad Street station). It's out of control, while going on lunch break I recorded some shittty situation lol ( literal shit in downtown) i wanted to post it on here , but it's inappropriate.

Looks like it’s doing the same thing here - it’s tracking shows it following the rail lines: https://globe.adsbexchange.com/?icao=a983ae

Not on Friday, and definitely not on 12/23. Wait at the airport and explore the different YouTube videos on it.

That makes sense, a few weeks ago Amtrak was having a helicopter doing inspection work of the NEC in the vicinity of North Brunswick.

Based on the registration, this is the same helicopter that was apparently conducting powerline inspection; taking high-resolution images of all components... hovering low above Amtrak rails west of Newark, DE back in late 2020. It may be doing the same thing now.
That said, u/relampagos_shawty may be onto something. New season of railways gone wild coming next fall, maybe?

No. Newark airport to Jersey city is 40 minutes alone - that doesn’t include waiting for anything.
Coming back into the airport you’ll have to go through tsa - which can also take 40 minutes (I’ve gone through it in 15 minutes and I’ve gone through it in 45).
In northern nj 15 miles = 45 minute drive. And maybe at 3am on Tuesday, an Uber can make it to JC in 15 minutes- but not normally.

2 hours and 50 minutes isn't enough time to do anything outside the airport, especially if you're traveling international. It's tempting, but everything will take longer than you expect, especially if you're not familiar with the area.
