Not a scam. They are probably just ran out of cash and you can buy diapers with EBT so they want to buy your groceries. And you buy the diapers

I agree. Loitering is illegal but not enforced. I believe arrests should be made. Loitering just make areas look bad. Especially in front of convenient stores, and liquor stores. Also bad for business

It would have to get more local there as there is obviously a lot of non-residential/industrial land in the ironbound that will bring the measure down.

Downtown Newark doesn't have that excuse though, it's just parking lots.

If the owners of that 7-11 consistently bothered the Newark PD to handle it, they likely would. They didn't want to.

Bottom line is that is a shitty spot for a 7-11. Would be better for a third wave coffee shop that actually cares about quality food.

The waterfront is cutoff by highways (21) or major roads (raymond) with heavy truck traffic. I don't see this city becoming pedestrian friendly in my lifetime.

Shaq 2 was built practically right up to the road with no setback. Don't get me wrong, I'm thrilled it's happening, but Newark and NJ in general prioritizes car traffic over everything else.

Either way, we are very far from the required density for the city to feel alive.

Facts we definitely need something like a Times Square or something, like Bloomfield and broad street would be a great place to have it or that we make broad and market street something similar. Definitely need more transportation
