The house I grew was burned down by the fire department. It was a huge dilapidated structure that needed it. I felt a tinge of remorse when I learned about it. The take away was this. Every building requires maintenance if you want to keep it as an investment or for your kids it requires upkeep.

My aunt and I lived in extreme poverty. If that was an option I’m sure it would have been done. We live in Florida, so after the last few hurricanes she was a goner.
 My great aunt is selling her house, the one I grew up in. It’s falling apart and she has to move. Today is a very hard, sad day for me. I found this picture of me in the front yard with our old mustang in the 90s. I’m in tears.
