Reply to My great grandmother at 17 years old, around 1928. Both of her parents were Lebanese immigrants to the US in the late 1800’s, and all the women loved to dance and performed at Lebanese and Syrian gatherings…although this is one of the more scantily clad photos I’ve seen. 🤣 by twineandtwig

And the NBL actually merged with the BAA (Basketball Association of America) in 1949 to become the NBA that we know today.
Teams like the Detroit Pistons (then known as the Fort Wayne Pistons) came from the NBL.
