Yeah… they make keyboard covers that should have been in use here. I remember seeing them at a Pizza Hut cash register as far back as the early 2000’s.

Hopefully the staff wiped off grease on keyboards after each customer

Could've been worse. They could've been greasy and sticky.

Old school product placement in Old School. It looks like Seinfelds kitchen or an episode of Friends.

Mag strips and a display screen that small, in 1967?
I must've switched timelines in my sleep, again...

It did, the original systems used radioactive ink. The picture isn't what the OP claims.

Yes but you've got the background completely wrong.

Don't I know it man. Lost ma back in '19. She had some old school cool from modelling in the 80s, just need to find the picture.

Nice. Thanks for sharing, and again, sorry for your loss. We are all destined to be orphans. Lost my mum in ‘86; dad in ‘17.

I had a grandfather who did carpentry. The presents he made us such as forts, castles, service stations and doll houses created such great memories. The cousins still talk about them 50 years later!

I've got his chin and jaw line, but they're kind of hidden under an overweight man's face. When I was a kid we looked alike, but as I got older I took more after my Irish mum's side.
When dad gained weight due to cancer medication though, the resemblance came out again.
As for my brains, nah. I never took to coding and computer science, I'm more of a creative. While my dad was a whizz with DB2 databases and mass migrations of data (which once upon a time he was paid handsomely for), I've chosen the path of a VFX compositing artist.

Sorry for your loss. Lost my dad in ‘17 and literally just looked at his remeberance card this morning. Looking at this photo, his confidence is evident. Being this Reddit, tell us, did you get the looks or the brains?
