It's not the "old school" part, more the "cool" part i don't agree with.

I'm curious as to what your definition of "old school" would be then.

It's so weird to think that my dad was only 26 years old then!

Someone else asked if I was 40 yet. I said I was turning 36 this year, but my back turned 40 a few years ago. 😂

I'll also say because of the second TMNT, it's why I'm always surprised when I see the movie 'Big Girls Don't Cry... They Get Even'. I'm always like "Oh? You mean 'Stepkids'?" The title of that movie changed between the trailer being on that tape, to it's time of release. I always wondered why it changed. 'Stepkids' was more straight and to the point.

That was also my jam. When I was two, I guess I BEGGED my mom for "Batman shoes". By "Batman shoes", I guess they were specifically '89 Batman symbol Converse shoes, which were expensive to my parents. They tried showing me cheap pairs of shoes with Batman on them, and I had no interest in them. My mom, bless her heart, worked a lot of overtime hours before Christmas of '89 to specifically buy me those shoes.

I'll apologize for the sarcasm that I chose to use when I woke up at 4:30 this morning and saw your comment. I may have misinterpreted the motive/context behind your words. Unfortunately, the internet has done that to me over the years. It's hard to interpret context sometimes, and what was probably just a harmless statement to educate on the correct usage of the word, came across to me at the time as a bitter statement. A statement that made me feel like you were possibly elevating yourself above me for knowing my mistake and pointing it out. I did see how you initially responded to my response before I was able to reply. I do want to say thank you for rewording your thoughts, and typing a more thought out and humanly statement. We make mistakes. While I made one grammatically, I also made one in quick judgment of context. Hope you have a great Thursday as well!

I know, plus it had P and J pickups so more tone options. I used a Kramer Focus before I discovered they had the same thing in a USA model.

I don't believe this movie ever was on a green cassette. I do have one that I've spoil swapped to be on green cassette, with blue cassette highlights, but I think it was only ever officially a black VHS tape.
