Then it was a whole day of adventures, stopping by everyon's house for snacks or to grab a toy

Look, Reddit can be whatever you want it to be — but you have to keep in mind that for other people it’s what they want it to be as well.

Your expectations can change on a daily basis, or even a sub-to-sub basis, and that’s cool.

The OP didn’t post this thinking or anticipating that people would be cruel about their looks and that they survived being born premature.

They just wanted to proudly share a family picture from 30+ years ago.

My thing is you don’t have to always like or appreciate something — that’s certainly your prerogative. Just scroll on by and find something you do like. I just don’t understand the unkindness.

I lost my daughter two years ago to suicide — she was 34. She was born a month premature a year earlier (1986) than these twins. Her untimely and devastating death makes me look at things a little differently — and I try to pass along what I’ve learned. Take it or leave it.

I remember those days. Making unstable ramps and jumping our bikes. Lots of road-rash. Running around "terrorizing" the neighborhood. Getting into trouble. Lots of fun. Those were the days.
