One of the best ever. He would certainly be on the "Mount Rushmore" of NBA greats.

I'm more of a rail workers fan and I'm pretty mad too.

Man I wish...he had some unreal costumes. Satiny with huge shoulders and million inch platform shoes. Funky.
It was 1978 I think (maybe 1979) and it was at the Salt Palace in Utah. Looking for exact dates on the interweb but cannot find. Was indeed quite an entry into the world of arena shows. The word from backstage was that Lionel (whom I love) was a bit snooty and wouldn't talk to the opening act! The rest of the band were cool though.

Did that in Oregon in the 90’s. It was memorable but glad someone else is doing it now.

He’ll always be one of the greatest basketball players the game has ever seen. But he’ll also always be one ugly man. Lol

To be fair to u/Psilobones - (as a kid that grew up in Alaska at this time), the 90's for everyone else was the 80's for Alaska anyway.

With the laws in America at the time it probably wouldn’t have been possible to register it as a Transferable Machine-gun because it was after the FOP act of 86. But worth a shot nonetheless, ill have to get the SN and try to locate it!

And therein lied his genius. He knew exactly what he was doing and a big part of that was to make you think he didn’t know what in the world he was doing.
