Most normal work places don't really appreciate it if you look at people in underwear on the clock.

Madonna was cool in music and images like this, but I feel like she's trying to emulate a bit of Siouxsie Sioux's make up, combined with Cyndi Lauper's style.

Let me tell you something. In a time when radio was dominated by Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, the Rolling Stones, the Doors and on and on and on... This little lady stood out. She sang alongside them all, she outsang most of them.
True talent, Ms Aretha. True talent.

Plus Zombie Weird Al may have contributed to that.

Looks like Great White. The middle guy with the hat in that poster I think is their guitarist at the time, Mark Kendell. He wore black, flat-brim hats like that.
That and the Skid Row poster would date this about 1989. Skid Row's first album broke in early 1989, and they got big that summer.

Whoa… slow your roll, lol. She knows how to dance. I never said she’s the best dancer, but she you can’t deny she’s has skill as a dancer. She studied it for many years.
Obviously, you’ve got all kinds of reasons built up in your head that convince you how terrible she is. I don’t know, maybe you ran into her somewhere and she snubbed you when you tried to flirt with her. So, no matter what, you’ve got some bitterness going on. You’re definitely passionate about your dislike for her. Anyway, good luck with all that.

She used to be a fashion leader, but somewhere along the way she turned into a try hard slave to fashion Kardashian wannabe. It’s weird because it didn’t have to be an age thing, but by trying to stay looking like a 19 year old at a festival she made it an age thing.
