Beautiful. What she has done to Herself recently is a travesty. There is nothing wrong with aging . All the work she has had done added to the filters makes her look like an alien.

Well, I was in high school, living at home. My pay was $6.50/hr. to start and maybe $9 when I quit. The car cost $800 so it took a while to save up for it. After a while, I even got some Cragger rims and a cassette player for it ;) My folks weren't too pleased but that car and I went freakin' everywhere. Man, I loved that car!

I'm personally not a huge fan of the Like A Prayer era Madonna.

Personal favorites would be either the Madonna of Who's that girl world tour (Who's that girl, True Blue) for young Madonna, or Madonna around the 2000s. The 2000s had some...questionable moments... but Madonna in her Frozen music video is a total goth smokeshow.

I believe Vsauce actually did a video about this. It's because the styles and appearances of the people we associate with a specific age tend to emerge when they are young and continue indefinitely. So we see a guy with this hair, this outfit, this facial hair, and assume "man in 1980s" even if the face is clearly 18.

I agree. I always thought she'd be too strong willed to go that way and she'd grow old somewhat gracefully. But I think things changed after Hard Candy and she did her next album with Nicki Minaj collaborations and such. And she seems to have just been trying too hard ever since. That announcement video she made to announce her upcoming tour was so cringe.

This sub only has two modes:

  1. “Who else wants to fuck my grandpa” and
  2. Shaming famous women for making choices about how they age while simultaneously slobbering over their youth, which is exactly the sort of pressure that leads people to make the choices you find gross or unpalatable.

It’s like clockwork.
