He definitely was a “bad boy” lol. They didn’t raise me- they became pregnant with me later this same year and I was given up for adoption. I found them when I was 18, she ended up becoming a nurse and he was a Marine. I don’t have a relationship with my bio mom anymore, but I still talk to my dad regularly. He turned into a great dude.

Good bass playing is a leap (I'm not saying up, but at least sideways) from guitar because it requires a fundamentally different approach to the instrument. Chugging out root notes isn't such a leap, but that's not what she was doing

Do you have a good relationship with them?

Those are meant to be used ?!?!
I always thought they were just wall decorations.

I get insanely granular about it. I think the Marx Brothers have funnier material, but that the general pathos of the Stooges is funnier to behold.

I absolutely hated the new Mandy . It was like watching an understudy try and act like the original actress.

And finding high quality photos. Needs to be a postage stamp saved at 50 quality JPG saved 3 times over before it qualifies to be shared.

Reply to comment by [deleted] in In the 1950s a ray gun was all you needed for a great day. by skipperbob
So is delusion. These ray guns were made because of sci-fi movies in the 40s and 50s. You didn’t have to make a ray gun to make kids like guns because you could very easily own a BB gun and many kids that age during that time. also had shotguns. This piddly ass little plastic toy ray gun designed after a sci-fi movie is just that. You are either too young to know what it was all about or too ignorant to figure it out.

Doesn't have to be "that much of a leap" to still be impressive and incredible. To play bass with such style and delivery, dropping stone cold funk like she did on Making Flippy Floppy, she's very unique. She's mostly if not entirely self-taught, so yeah I'd say going from diddling amateur to certified funky priest is a hell of a leap.
