This from a series of photos taken by Annie Leibowitz in 1976, many of which eventually were published for the December 2, 1976 edition of ‘Rolling Stone‘ magazine. Though giving approval for the shoot, Linda and her manager Peter Asher were reportedly unhappy with the results.

Namely, the cover showed Linda in a skimpy red negligee, while the interior shots depicted her ironing a garment and in another stretching across her bed on her stomach. Some commented this one made her “look like a piece of meat.”

Leibowitz did not back down, and ended up working several times with Linda for future magazine covers.

From Van Damme’s Wikipedia page-

Van Damme worked for director John McTiernan for the film Predator (1987) as an early (eventually abandoned) version of the titular alien, before being removed and replaced by Kevin Peter Hall.[42] As the first choice to play the titular Predator character, with the intent that he would use his martial arts skills to make the alien an agile, ninja-like hunter, but after few days shot, he left the film. It was reported that Van Damme constantly complained about the monster suit being too hot and causing him to pass out; he allegedly also voiced reservations about only appearing on camera in the suit. Additionally, it became apparent that a more physically imposing actor was needed to make the creature appear threatening against the team of soldiers. The role eventually went to Kevin Peter Hall.[43] After Predator was a success, Van Damme said that he appreciated the movie and that he had no regrets about missing that role.

I used to know Sid Krofft but I didn’t know it for a while. I used to go to a gym in Hollywood in the 90s and there was this guy who was there a lot. Super nice guy, we always chatted about random stuff but never introduced ourselves. Then one day the front desk announced “Sid Krofft, line one” and I was like “oh wow”.

The architect of my childhood. Seemed like such a happy guy. Complete gentleman.
