I remember the "hidden gusset" was such a strange concept, and was a big hit in my martial arts circle of friends who just repeatedly found ways to make fun of this. But then we all secretly bought a pair of these. I can say without a doubt, and not only for kicking, but for such simple things as sitting, these were the best!
