My mom had a Datsun 240Z back in the early 70s. I wish she kept that car.

My dad almost bought one of these when I was little. In the end, he went with something else because our local Datsun dealer wouldn't budge on price.
Several years down the road, one of my uncles bought one. His was a 2+2 with an automatic, but 11-year-old me still thought Uncle Jim's car was pretty neat. And that was actually one of a few sports cars Jim owned. My mom has a picture of him somewhere standing in front of his TR-3, and I also got to ride in a first-gen RX-7 he owned. Many, many years down the line, I got to return the favor by taking him out for a spin in my Miata. At the time he said he was thinking of buying one.

Homecoming, 1987
Girl: "Rachel needs an escort for the homecoming queen ceremony at halftime. She wants you to escort her."
Me: "What??? She just broke up with me. Rachel can FO, I'm doing her no favors. She can find some other chump to hold her coat."
Girl: "You get to drive my dad's 1966 Corvette Stingr-"
Me: "Done."

Caught the TV edit once, he got up on stage grabbed the mike and growled "I've got to go, I've got a date with you mother."

Reminds me of his movie, “Crime Stinks.” Then he smells crime again, he's out busting heads. Then he's back to the lab for some more full penetration. Smells crime. Back to the lab, full penetration. Crime. Penetration. Crime. Full penetration. Crime. Penetration. And this goes on and on and back and forth for 90 or so minutes until the movie just sort of ends.
