Reply to Barry Goldwater, 1967 by FNTM_309
Not only did he criticize the influence of religion within the Republican party, but he was pro-choice, which got him a ton of flak from the religious right.
Even if you're opposed to conservative ideology, Goldwater is misunderstood. He was very much more akin to a libertarian, fiscally conservative and socially liberal, than a modern day conservative.

And yet the vast majority of his fans do not notice when he fucks up basic math and physics.
He seems to be generating a shallow interest at best.

This film got me into death metal as a kid, never knew how to find it til I left school and met some metal heads and explained what I heard and one of them put CC on, blew my mind

Reply to Christopher Lambert and Isabelle Adjani in Luc Besson's 1985 classic "Subway." by JerseyWiseguy
Loved this film back then - rented it from the video store just because the cover looked cool, knew nothing about it. Instant favourite just because it was so weird. Haven't seen it in ages, I'm almost afraid to watch again in case I don't like it anymore!
