It's a nuisance tax, but sadly if you don't do it they'll garnish your wages or threaten imprisonment.

Pennsylvania isn't that strict, I've driven some real shitheaps in my life and never had them failed for rust.

It's this, people are insanely lazy about taking care of their things. Cars are expensive, take care of them.

Yes, you can probably do it online but you’ll be using box 19 on your w2 for it, for reference. Box 16 for wages box 19 for local taxes taken out.

Yes. I have borderline PTSD from dealing with failed PA inspections over bullshit.

Never knew there were any there. I do know some foundations and active towers exist on the other side of the Lehigh river a couple miles down trail.

Yes, that is one of them. There are 2 other locations. One in Neshannock and another one in Shenango.

Basically, it depends who you go to. My MIL took her car to a random shop instead of the one I usually go to. They failed her for bad wipers and such. The one I go to slapped the sticker on, with a warning to switch the wipers.

Not Bucks, but the Pinball Gallery in Malvern is cool. Its about 75% pinball (obviously) but they also have some older arcade and console game stations. You pay by the hour if I recall, it was pretty fun, although there are no go karts.

Fyi, if you take care of your vehicle it won't rust to pieces.

I wish we could just drive back to the 80s where the best arcades are.

Is Bill's the place across the street from Pizza Joe's, as you're heading toward WalMart? If so, that place was amazing and I ate lunch there often. Their burgers are SO good.

If it's just light rust I doubt it will fail. They also have other annoying stuff they can fail you for...example: a car doesn't have to have fog lights at all whatsoever, but if your car DOES have them, they all have to work, even if you never use them...even though cars aren't even required to have them.

>only tax the value of the land itself, not any buildings or other improvements.
In other words, the guy who can only to afford to live in a trailer now would be taxed at the same level as a guy who can afford to put a mansion upon his property?
Still seems like a dumb idea that needs much more thought.

Only when the rust compromises the integrity of the piece. Frames, holes in fenders, etc. Even then, the frame one is really the only worry.

And then what, update the job posting for every snowflake applicant who can't do math? You should know your own tax bracket and can estimate your net take home. It's not that hard. Don't be oBtUs3.

Maybe this is part of the problem in America. You need six degrees in finance to understand our tax code. The IRS tells you to figure it the fuck our yourself every year and if you get it wrong they come after you.
