By the way I think a bundle delivery service is very interesting! Everyone is moving to on-demand delivery services for everything now. Thanks Amazon!

Most landscaping companies have excess supply constantly, you could start there. But to your point, it's not the easiest customer journey to get to that point. Would you find it more valuable if local companies had their supply/availability listed online?

Yeah, that says a lot. It's one of the issues with the last governor's race. There was zero press on Shapiro, and all of the press on Mastriano was negative. I mean, there's no way I was voting for Mastriano, but it really showed how the press has degenerated since the Fairness Act was repealed.

Hey, how about calling them to get an answer from them, or look up the question on their website.

It sucks that the mainstream press around here never covers anything like this. I guess blood and guts and doom and gloom are probably more profitable.

That's why this whole crop of small, online news sources are so great for local communities. I mean, some of them are partisan af, but Patch seems pretty earnest.

Correct. Typically marketplace apps connect buyers (demand) with sellers (supply) and take a cut (10-15%). It benefits the seller if they're able to reach new buyers they otherwise wouldn't be able to without paying for marketing or adding an online shop or something else. In your case you already know the buyer so you wouldn't need to use the app. You would continue to pay $25. Other buyers who otherwise didn't know this seller existed could pay we'll say $30/3, a 20% increase to the seller (win!). Middleman takes 10% (win). Buyer gets good wood (win). The question is there enough unmet demand in the marketplace to validate this type of marketplace? Are there seasonal buyers who don't know any wood sellers? Is there a lot of competition in the market? I don't know.. Just trying research more.

Low key there are a lot of people working really hard across the state on trying to make all kinds of positive things happen in their communities and beyond. They’re generally not on the news or getting major party endorsements, but they’re out there. Fighting the good fight.

keep pretending that ugi is inflating prices because they have a mono... ohh, im sorry. a lock on gas because they are the only person that can provide it thus are able to inflate their prices.
again. for the dim witted....
ugi cannot raise their prices despite having a mono... oops. a lock on their product, because it is a heavily regulated product.
you are wrong. have a nice day.

Is that why propane is not regulated?

Care to elaborate? To my understanding the old "postmarked" thing went away with the rise in electronic billing and companies must actually RECEIVE the check by the due date, or they can charge a late fee. The USPS has become notoriously unreliable over the last several years. I REFUSE to mail a check because it has EVERYTHING someone would need to set up fraudulent transfers, so when I had a bill that needed to be paid via USPS last year I sent a money order certified mail, it took 6 weeks to be recieved. It was NEVER scanned as delivered as the USPS was no help, they said "oh it probably got delivered and they forgot to scan it."

It's the interest free loan part, they know what they're doing, by the time the money gets back to you it's already deflated in value to their advantage
