Listen, Phil is immortal, but his wives aren't. He will watch them bloom, whither, and die one after the other for the rest of eternity.
He is suffering enough.

Or require them to get permits.
For those wondering the escgp-3 permit is only required when you have 5 acres or more of disturbance for oil and gas exploration or gathering activities.

Fun fact: the groundhog in the library is not the same as the one who appears for the ceremony. That one is kept in a pen at the home of an Inner Circle member.

Oh, and fuck Gus, too.

Gus cannot be trusted, either. He says to scratch it off and you will be a winner, but at the end of the day, you know he's just hoping for another 6 weeks of winter.

They did upgrade it to a digital meter, but I feel like I've been seeing a guy walk around and read it anyways. Dunno to be precise. Are they all now connected to cellular towers? It is possible we don't have a meter reader anymore.

They have to fight to the death, with swords, which only means that one will be decapitated and the other will absorb the former's powers into his own. Making the One more powerful as time goes on but they can't fight on hollow grounds so they fight in Indiana, PA.
