not really, he is talked about in some books of the era, usually crowded out by larger more well known folks like pinchot, muir and the like. He is on the wiki, Joseph Rothrock and he totally seemed to have lived an interesting life.

There are not that many Rothrocks in the USA, most of them, to my knowledge are related directly back to two ships that carried the family over, the Pink Mary and another one. It was a father and his four sons. It is a pain in the ass because there are like 10 generations of "george" or "john" or the german versions, so Johan, johannes, georg.

You can find some powerpoints, some brief descriptions on the various state websites.

The law does not care if you agree. Unless changed, it is what it is.

I do not disagree with most of what you state about alcohol, but folks do not magically become drunk upon entering an establishment. She had to have been plastered for some time before she took a header off the stool. A bummer re her current state, but she made the decision to start drinking and the barkeep kept serving her for some time before she became a jellyfish.

I can't speak to whether or not they'll do it in the same transaction, but they may be able to do it in 2 transactions and you'll get an extra-long expiration date.

I recently had a mix-up when renewing my license. I renewed online (did not do the REAL ID upgrade), but asked to upgrade when I went to take the photo. They had to charge me for a 2nd renewal to process the upgrade, but now my license is good until 2030 instead of 2026. They do not make you forfeit remaining years on a license when you change something.

It’s not QUITE the same, but I updated my address and got a Read ID at the same time. The real ID is just another renewal, so you pay the renewal fee on top of any fee for the name change that might exist. Assuming you’re at a same day Real ID DMV they should be able to sort it all in one day. You just end up seeing multiple people is all.
