I’m kind of surprised you guys in Australia even know about this lol. You think that is mostly due to the movie? For the record we all know it isn’t real we just all decided we would pretend it is. But yes, lots of drinking. Australians would fit in perfectly.

I think it is mildly funny that among many thing Americans get the reputation for being bad at geography. There is probably some truth to that but I knew South Australia was a state. The other day in a different sub someone was from Belgium and was trying to explain where it was like “a small country in Western Europe between Netherlands and France.” I’m thinking “have people not heard of Belgium before?” 🤦🏻‍♂️😆

I'm mostly attempting to divert water way from flowing across my patio and driveway and around my yard. I'm hopeful it will work to just catch and divert the surface water... I just have no idea how deep I should be looking to bury the pipe to keep it from being damaged by the winter

yeah, & with the anabaptists that broke off from the amish & mennonites (in my experience being raised at an anabaptist church), there is a lot of competition for "relevancy." i basically saw my church deteriorate into begging for money & pushing dangerous political ideologies. people respond to the provocative.

I take from this article he’s committed to doing the work - albeit in his current capacity may be limited to voting on bills and talking with other politicians. I couldn’t give one singular fuck if he ever answers a reporters question directly. He could start a new normal of politicians answering the week’s pressing questions on a YouTube channel…
