Well Blue Knob is barely a village. A place like Bedford has amenities but isn't too far away.

The Laurel Highlands ( Somerset) would be less amenities but more wild. Depends on what you're looking for.

State College gets you the most culture but your going to pay for it.

I can't speak for the northeast areas because while I've passed through but I haven't lived there.

I’m definitely avoiding the suburbs and most city areas if I can, I’d frankly be ok with a large-ish 1 bed and bath place that allows pets and maybe a yard big enough to use as a poop area. I try to spend as little time at home with my dogs bc they like to be active outside the yard anyway

Chester county is expense and so are most of the surrounding areas around Exton. With that said, with $3600 take home, you won’t be on the streets. A lot would come down to the lifestyle you want for you and your dogs. Are you fine with a pet friendly apartment? You can swing it. Want easy access to a yard and walking distance to activities, will be tougher to make that work.
