Nice! I live almost 2 hrs away so I only go when there’s a “must see” show. Used to find myself there quite a bit but the types of shows they’ve been having aren’t quite the same so I haven’t been making the trip lately, unfortunately. One of the best shows I ever went to was in “The Living Room” right next to (and I guess part of?) The Sherman. That was pretty wild.

Forksville - The General Store and World's End State Park nearby

Strasburg - Pennsylvania Train museum, Sight & Sound (the visuals), Down On The Farm Creamery, Antiquing/Fashion Cents, 2 microbreweries, mini-golf, and Amish of course.

Quakertown - QMart, great borough park, trying to revitalize downtown, history (McCoole's/Fries Rebellion)

I also like Jim Thorpe, York (Central Market, thrift shop, york emporium, and the rail-trail), Gettysburg, Mechanicsburg, New Cumberland, Emmaus, Bethlehem, Easton, Riegelsville (family), Lahaska (Peddler's Village), Williamsport, and Mifflinburg (Rusty Rail and rail-trail). My bias is central/eastern, eventually I'd like to explore more western than just Pittsburgh (and I've been to Presque Isle as a kid).

Well state Senator Dave Arnold (R-lebanon County) was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer at the start of his campaign. Despite a terminal diagnosis, and a life expectancy of around a year, he was elected because he was a republican. He made his last public appearance in November and was dead by February.

If what I am told is correct, he lost his mental functioning around November and it got to the point that he did not recognize his family. Very sad situation for all involved. However apparently he was considered mentally stable enough to give his proxy for others to vote in his place.

I don't understand the rules- but apparently there is no test required to allow another person to cast your vote in the state government. Totally unregulated.

Lancaster Online is running a similar story with a Lancaster Air Traffic Controller (who's not named) allegedly saying they were "routine training flights..."

Yet I've lived in Lancaster County for about 6 years and I've never noticed fighter jets overhead. I've noticed plenty of Fort Indiantown Gap's helicopters (Chinooks I believe, they're long with two rotors) but never fighter jets.
