Energy Innovation and Carbon Dividend Act
>The Energy Innovation and Carbon Dividend Act of 2019 (H.R. 763) is a bill in the United States House of Representatives that proposes a fee on carbon at the point of extraction to encourage market-driven innovation of clean energy technologies to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The fees are recycled to citizens in monthly dividends. The act was originally introduced in 2018 with bipartisan support from six co-sponsors and died when the 115th congress ended on 3 January 2019. It is principally based on Citizens' Climate Lobby's carbon fee and dividend proposal, and this organization advocates for the bill.

The Carbon Dividend Act is a Carbon tax. It keeps coming around and will likely make another run.
edit: I do agree it's more in the area of the request than any specific immediate plans.

I must have missed the one in Kennett which is too bad, that's right down the street. Maybe I will try to call the office next week, thanks :)

True that! It’s a cute little town with a lot to offer for the location. Even the big cabelas over the hill in Hamburg is an attraction to see.

Don’t forget about Franks barber shop. Throwback barber with cheap haircuts, free refreshments, and awesome conversation.

You don't have to have a bleeding heart to not want the wrongfully convicted to be put to death.

She does a good job of going to all parts of Chester County. That calendar isn't 100% accurate because from my email I see she's been in Downingtown, Exton and Kennett Square. Its' best to sign up for the email alerts.
edit: Calling her Chesco office is also a good way to try and get an answer.

☝️This right here ☝️is one of the biggest problems with the death penalty. Yes we have DNA, and yes we have forensics we didn't have even a decade ago, but getting a court to approve tests IF evidence hasn't been lost or destroyed is difficult. Unfortunately, if they get their appeal heard, the upper courts seem to not want to rock the boat and order a case reheard.

Carlisle has some really great eateries, and a few little specialty shops.
Gettysburg probably is more well known than the intent of your question but the area around the square is a lot of fun.

I'm on board with this. Not because of a bleeding heart but cold pragmatism. Death sentences most commonly turn into life sentences anyway, but death requires so many more court appearances for appeals that use the limited resources the system has.

Yes, great idea. Strip people of their constitutional rights so we can put them to death and then later say...oops, turns out this other person did it. Our bad. Here's a bunch of taxpayer money in a settlement.

That's not the only reason, it's just one of them because so many people who are pro death penalty think that it's more expensive to imprison someone for life than to execute them.

No, Oz was a loser from the jump, so there’s no reason anyone should convert for him. Conversion in general doesn’t help anyone.
But people, I presume like yourself, have raised Fetterman up as a folk hero, who is going to make a difference. In the end, just like all the others, he is a career politician just like all the others, playing his role as the progressive savior.
What do I want people to do? Ideally, realize none of these people on either team care about you. Stop putting any trust in them, because all they do is take. Be independent, think critically.

Estimates are one thing.. this shitcannery from ppl is on a completely different level. Never once in the last 10 years of being in the same house have I had an electric bill higher than 350$ (I understand rates rising yada yada yada) and that was 3 years ago when there were 7 people living in the house . Now there's 2. Opened this months bill, and they're quoting me at 675$. Possibly understandable if I would run a prevy balance from month to month. But I don't. Never have. House is dark sunday-thursday nights after midnight. Noones home after 0630. So the only thing running is the 2 freezers and the fridge/freezer until 1900 (7pm) when I get home. House is heated by wood stove and propane as backup if we go somewhere for multiple days at a time. Get screwed, that price isnt getting paid
