The last time someone on death row was executed was in the last century.

I think someone else also mentioned the helicopter museum, but it's not showing up in the comments. We'll probably try to get over there.
I'll look up the other places you mentioned. The bookstore might be a good idea, but we'll see what everyone wants to do.

Ty for the sauce.
That is the biggest problem, the privatized prisons.

Your reasoning seems to contradict itself since you hinge your definition on the idea of lawful/unlawful. So on one end you're saying that executions are fine because it's legal to carry them out, but abortion is not because it's "unlawful" in your opinion... despite the actual laws at this time.

If nobody asks then nothing gets done. Organizations like Citizen's Climate Lobby focus purely in this area and are making progress.

just curious... did you lock in your electric rate like 6 months ago when everyone was telling everybody to do so? cause the price went up like 35% for residential customers...

the price went from like < 8 to 12+ this year alone

There have been 3 executions by the state of PA since 1976. All were in the 90s during the Tom Ridge administration.
I'm glad we can agree that there are many imprison who don't belong there. Now if only prisons weren't operated for profit that might not be as big an issue as it is.

I agree with more room by releasing minor offenses, a lot of places do this right now.
I was speaking on state executions which I believe was in the 70's, I could be wrong but PA hasn't sentenced anyone to death in a long time. Edit I just reread your comment, 1999 got it ty for the update.
Our legal system does not allow the victims to determine. We live in a civilized society as I said, the judge determines the sentences after the accused is judged by 12 of their peers.

West Chester has a nice, walkable downtown area. Lots of shops and restaurants.

You could visit Baldwins Book Barn which is a cool old barn where they sell old books. There is a helicopter museum outside town next to QVC studios.
Longwood Gardens is close by and is amazing. The Brandywine River Museum is a nearby art museum as well. There are also multiple parks and nature areas if you like the outdoors.

Personally, I am not relying on this, nor suggesting it as a reason. I simply wanted to record those facts for use to dispel others who come back to you and say “but I don’t want my taxes paying to support the person in prison for life”. Personally I don’t want my taxes paying to murder anyone, so that is why I am against the death penalty. It is state sanctioned murder.

I don't think that opt in money systems outside the control of the state are scams, including things like Bitcoin, Monero, and Ethereum. Yes, there are lots of scams in crypto world, but these are money systems with larger economies than many countries now.
