Oh, well then you will be sorely disappointed. Because PA power switch is actually a "Auction House"; or rather clearing house. Just because the rates are posted on PA power switch DOES NOT mean they have then posted on their own website. The info submitted to PA power switch is like, the Walmart of rates. They are encouraged to post good rates on there because they are required to advertise their rates ON PA power switch as part of their licensing. But they do NOT need to post those as a general person looking for a rate on their website. They are "Provider" deals lol

Well, it's not presented explicitly on the website, or the suppliers websites. But, they SOMETIMES have a higher incentive to cover the bigger portions of their wholesale purchases with the idea that, if offered lower rates, ABOVE average usage, normally equates to prompt payment because you are obviously using more than someone who is turning off the heat and may not be able to pay, and they need 6 of those types accounts at 700kwh to roughly equal what I do in 4,000kwh per month. so they can shave a few pennies off the cost to make sure that they have the recoupment of the purchase of power they are responsible for.

EDIT: From one of my service agreements.

Look at the scaling of price then look at the rate at top

EDIT 2:

  • 4,000Kwh X 10.9¢ = 436$

  • 4,000Kwh X .12608 = 504.32$

The extra cents add up the more you use, well it adds up to savings to constantly lower the rate dependent on your usage for a better cost savings for you

Richard Gere is from Philadelphia - and has family ties to Montrose, PA (Susquehanna County). He came here a few years ago to support the local movie theater and talk to the community.
