The implication is they charge us higher prices for services. It’s robbing Peter to pay Paul.
It sounds good until you consider the consequences. It will also have implications for any nonprofit that charges a fee like museums and the symphony. The state constitution is vague on the issue so the courts are just going to make up whatever they want

Reading some of these comments shows me people do not understand how weird and sometimes fucked up clearfield county actually is. This is actually one of the first few news stories I’ve read in a while on that didn’t involve 814 pred hunters getting someone from out of state arrested.

My daughter was born Feb 2021.

When her birth certificate came in the mail it had her father’s name wrong. We had to send it back and get a corrected one.

It took almost a year and going to our state representative, Tim Bonner to get it fixed.

It’s stupidly impossible to deal with these people. You need to go to your local representative for help.

The Irish hate that we call it St. Patty’s. It’s St. Paddy. From Merriam-Webster: St. Patrick's Day can be referred to in informal contexts as “St. Paddy's Day.” Paddy is the shortened form of the original Irish spelling of Patrick, which is Pádraig, and for this reason is usually preferred over “St. Patty's Day,” which could also be mistaken for the shortened form of the name Patricia.

"However, Rodriguez is realistic about what comes next. Considering the likelihood that Tower Health will appeal the decision to a higher court — they have until March 12 to file a notice of appeal — Rodriguez is not counting his additional tax dollars just yet."

Article says they have a few more months to appeal. Maybe by mid year we'll have a better answer.
