They need a better system for changing and disposing of litter. Cat litter can get very expensive if we’re talking about multiple cats. People don’t like to dump it all out every day because of the expense but they need to be doing that. Maybe offer to donate litter if this is the issue? Or heavy trash bags if it’s the trash that stinks?

They also need to make sure all of the cats are spayed and neutered. Unneutered males stink to high heaven.

>We retuned it through the warranty - we had owned the car for a few months at that point.

Gees, that sounds like Blackrock is a good warranty company! Glad everything went well. Is there specific wording in the contract for "returning" a vehicle? Did you have the full blown warranty that covers everything or the basic one? I wonder if it's in the contract or if it was just and exception they made. Did you have to complain a lot to get them to take it back?

Woooow... who in the fuck can endorse this kind of stuff? Okay, so what if you have an issue with SNAP, but now even the food pantries are going to have less supplies??? Those agencies are important! They often provide disaster relief. So what happens if a storm rolls through PA and folks can't get food?

Also, on another note, who is responsible for gutting these programs? I need specifics so I know who to [Removed by Reddit].

This isn’t that surprising to say the least. Over the past year or so their quality of service has dropped significantly. I’m literally considering starting my chronic treatment plan all over again at geisinger instead. It’s gotten so bad with specialists, poor billing practices, and terrible patient/doctor communication.

Lots of food. I usually make all the deep fried stuff. Pakoras, puris, that sort of thing. There are lots of sweets but I'm not a huge fan of the traditional stuff so the new trend is to adjust European desserts with South Asian flavors (ex: chai or rose cardamom tiramisu).

The activities are super kid friendly. My toddler basically played with all the urlis (wide dish with flowers and candles) we had out like they were water sensory bins. There are rangoli designs and painting of the lamps (deepas/diyas).

2023 landed pretty close to Halloween so we decorated in Halloween colors. This year is veterans day but I'm just going to combine thanksgiving with it since I'm hosting a smaller gathering. We usually do a large typical American thanksgiving with Indian sides since my extended family is interreligious. But I'm making it South Asian inspired this year. My kid will be making samosa turkeys instead of hand turkeys this year (https://youtu.be/_PhdTTrKPU8) 🤣.

I like to keep tabs on when Diwali is each year so I don't get surprised by seemingly random large firework displays. I'm out in the country but those BOOMS from fireworks travel

So I ask myself, is it Diwali or has some nutcase gone off the deep end? Checks calendar. Nope, it's just Diwali. Whew

Adding a holiday that is so joyous is a good thing in my book

Yea I agree their process is pretty great! I’m a little worried about the title issues and what to do if something happens! I’m kind of wondering if the consumer is really protected as you see people on the news complaining they had to park their car! As long as I’m confident of that it seems like no reason, but I’ve yet to come up with a foolproof plan if they don’t send the title for some crazy reason. Not so sure they had those issues back when you bought it though. Thanks for replying

I experienced this same situation recently, and I never was able to get a clear answer even after talking with someone.

I would wait til next week to file because if you file this Sunday you will have to report that you earned wages from your employer this week and it will break everything, or at least it did for me.

I was let go on a tuesday, opened my claim on a Wednesday and filed my first weekly claim that Sunday. In the claim it asks if you earned any wages that week, and because I worked Monday and part of Tuesday I answered yes and submitted. The first week is a "waiting week" that you don't get paid for so I wasn't anticipating anything. Then when I went to file the next week it said my claim was under review. I was still able to file every week but it kept saying it was under review. After leaving a few voicemails someone finally called me back and they manually moved it out of review and I got all my back pay.

As for the weekly job search requirements, in my experience no one will ever ask about it or will you ever have to show proof. Just make sure you have registered in the job search portal.
