Brain shit in general. Concussions will do this too. I had a really bad concussion a few years ago that required hospitalization including jumbled words, super weird. In a couple months I was holding a knife to my throat yelling at my partner "I'll fucking do it, just the jugular. Five seconds and it's over!" I was in a full psych program that night.

The sheer sense of doom and depression after any kind of brain trauma can be uncontrollable and overwhelming and completely out of character for the sufferer. I can't believe that people want someone in politics to not do something about that.

Kia Forte. From the sound of it, the driver was just driving and the girl stepped off the curb. I don't think anyone is really at fault here.

Remember that there were 2 kids at that stop, a witness with them, and the driver who will never forget today ever. I feel sad for a lot of people.

Utility isn't supposed to profit on supply, but insiders and other companies associated with possibly could. I suspect that's the situation with PPL. Something that should be investigated.

Very odd with how PPL default supply rate went from middle of the pack to the highest so rapidly this past June followed by another sizeable increase again in December.

As for utility infrastructure, much needs repair, but adding surcharges is shady verses simply raising the distribution rate directly. Maybe surcharging is a legitimate approach, but have my doubts. PUC should do more to protect both utilities and consumers.

Right! One of PA's cities got in serious trouble for looting money saved up for sewer infrastructure maintenance and replacement and misappropriation of those funds into the general fund to address a budget shortfall...for decades. PA's utilities and municipalities need to start budgeting for 30 years on the future.

I actually don’t like that idea. I’m much more for a Tuesday holiday. On a general Tuesday, most people just work. Some people have a hard time getting off work to vote, but the same people that have a hard time finding time during the 13 hour window of 7 am-8 pm probably also work on Saturdays. Any M-F 9-5 is able to get out and vote during those hours.

If Election Day was on Saturday, a lot of people would have other normal weekend plans that could cause them to not be around on a Saturday. A lot of people would prioritize those plans over voting and won’t schedule around Election Day. Where as Tuesday, most people are home because it’s a work day and they just need to stop by at some point during the day if possible, or vote by mail.

Making that Tuesday a holiday is a much better way to go about it then changing it to a Saturday.

Definitely not Giselle. What qualifications does she have other than liberal dorks overhyping her? I voted for John his policies make him far and away the best person for the job. People like Giselle because she’s a supportive wife and mother. Not because she would make a great senator.

John isn’t going to resign either. He’s recovering from a stroke, not dying.

I just know if a working class person person admits themselves in my area, they will be released within days even with struggles relating to suicide. I was told on multiple occasions that I would be released within 72 hours when I considered admitting myself in the past. They also do not consider intense levels of depression or anxiety worthy of admission unless there are active suicidal thoughts and plans. I reported suicidal ideation many times, and they never considered me a danger or in need of more care. Obviously, a senator will probably receive better care than someone living in a low income area.

Shitty article. If you actually read that 3m number isn't based on anything but a shitty pole from wealth managers with zero context for the person.

The math isn't hard and of you don't believe you can live off of 100k a year + ss then you might have a life style issue and are spending too much.
