$300/week for 3 days a week. This is at the pre-school age. I know it was more expensive at the youngest, and has gone down from infant room to toddler room to preschool.

The Rocky Point plate looks terrific! The Gaspee Days Committee is taking preorders for a very nice looking plate as well. They’re still short of the 600 needed to get a production run started but are going to make a push in the spring to reach that goal. I’m hopeful that they make it, because my wave plate is on its last legs and I don’t want to get stuck with the saw blade.

We pay about $1300/month for 5 days/week 8a-5:30p for one toddler. Have heard of cheaper rates from coworkers, though I think these are often based in churches and tough to find.

Back in the 1920s there were both trolley/streetcar/tram lines in the cities and interurban rail lines between the cities and even into some of the rural areas. There are still a few remnants of the bed from the Providence-Woonsocket line if you know where to look. When private autos became common everybody saw this as the modern way to go. Looking back now it might be nice to still have some of that infrastructure. The links below are old maps showing the long gone interurban rail lines.
