Look up all my previous posts. I have a ducted heat pump in 1400 square ft house with 1k basement and my electric bill for the heat pump last month would have been 145 but I have extra solar credits so it was still $0. I keep the house at constant 71. You just have to make sure you buy a cold climate heat pump

There is no "threshold" and there is no tax for beneficiaries who inherit bank accounts or the benefits from life insurance. If you were to inherit an IRA or other retirement plan then there could be income tax due. Some large estates can also be liable for estate tax but not the beneficiary.

TLDR: Life insurance and bank accounts are not taxable to beneficiaries.

Allstate did one after having them for 20 years, even during construction of the house. Inspector said they were cutting down on "older homes" in their portfolio. Sure enough they cancelled me.

Providence sucks to drive through. I think that there will be more of what Fidelity did in Smithfield and what Citizens did in Johnston. Moving a short distance outside of Providence means a reasonable commute for a large swath of southern MA. Employers need an applicant pool. I’m still new to RI but those are my impressions.
