This project is egregious. Noone cares that it is aesthetically shit. The recommendations from all of the people who actually know planning and development is to follow the recommendations on height and development scope on these parcels. As many in this thread of noted, throw this thing on a block that is appropriate for scale and noone would be that upset. The architecture is also shit but that's not what people are arguing about. What we care about is whether this development makes sense. But you and I have had this out before on this very subject so why waste my time.

Yes! I just looked it up - there's a compilation of all of them on YouTube, but I'm not sure how to post it here - just look up "Heavy Hitter Law Ads" on YouTube. Same jingle, but they change the lyrics to match the phone number: e.g. "Call the Heavy Hitter don't hesitate, call 1 800 LAW 2888", "Call the Heavy Hitter don't be a hero, Call 1 800 LAW 2220", etc. Pretty amazing.

Yeah, but I've driven cross country several times and lived in other states/cities with cameras and have never experienced this either. Admittedly, NYC has its own issues with people obscuring plates, but not covers.

Personally, I actually find the cameras to be less of a hindrance then constant toll roads I've had to deal with in other areas. I'd expect more people to try and avoid ez pass more than the possibility of a ticket which can be avoided if you don't blow red lights.

You don't generate a lot of solar in the winter time. So you have to earn credits during the summertime, which unfortunately is when electricity rates are the lowest.

So when they raise the rates in winter all the credit you earned in the summertime at the low rate is used at the higher rate, basically it's spent twice as fast as it's earned.

I’m in a new house (4yrs) and never thought about an inspection. But we put in an in ground pool and gas fireplace since and have wondered about informing them. The actual agent left me a voicemail around the beginning of the month that got me a little worried. When I called back, an assistant answered and said he probably called to make sure everything was ok, that they usually do that once a year around renewal time.

Yeah! I heard this same commercial up in Maine the other day, for a totally different dealership - I don't think it was even a Kia dealership. I think the same is true of the "Heavy Hitter" - it's an advertising package. I heard another Heavy Hitter commercial down south somewhere - either Alabama or Georgia.
