Natural gas rates from RIE went up about 11% starting Nov 1, from $0.6137 over the summer/fall to $0.6831/therm.

Naturally, usage will be increasing as the weather (slowly) gets colder...it takes more energy to keep your house 65 degrees when it's 20 degrees outside than when it's 50 degrees out.

We've looked into it. I won't get into the financials, but it's just not in the cards yet. Aside from that, we're also waiting to use that program and get our first house / condo when we find an area we like. We'd rather rent short term in the chance that we don't like where we move. Thankfully, we both have fully remote jobs now, so that part isn't really an issue.

I also know some card shops so there's a good group in RI, Reality A gaming in west Warwick is also nice for boardgames and they do events like drafts for mtg and I believe they have a star wars tabletop game they've been running on Wednesdays but my schedule doesn't allow for it personally so I don't know all the details for that just that the set up for it looked really cool so if you like star wars as well ask about that
