What happens to the 'excess' energy that's produced, or it just doesn't get that far?

I back up anyone supporting Gregg’s chocolate cake. However, sometimes I just can’t do all that chocolate. In those times, their, “Giving cake” is a rock solid back up choice. IMHO.

It’s an independent company; the JetBlue tie-in is that its founder is also JetBlue’s founder.

When a friend from out of town visited, he told me to meet him at the Beef Hearth. Had no idea what he was referring to. Apparently Chelo’s full name is “Chelo’s Beef Hearth”, which somehow makes things even worse imo

Or by getting a rebate on a smart thermometer or energy efficient heating/cooling equipment! Just not now, because they've conveniently pulled the RI Energy Marketplace offline for a "redesign" during the season when you'd likely benefit most from anything like that.

Absolutely gorgeous. It almost makes me said that I will never get up early enough to take a picture like that...almost.

Natural gas rates from RIE went up about 11% starting Nov 1, from $0.6137 over the summer/fall to $0.6831/therm.
Naturally, usage will be increasing as the weather (slowly) gets colder...it takes more energy to keep your house 65 degrees when it's 20 degrees outside than when it's 50 degrees out.

We've looked into it. I won't get into the financials, but it's just not in the cards yet. Aside from that, we're also waiting to use that program and get our first house / condo when we find an area we like. We'd rather rent short term in the chance that we don't like where we move. Thankfully, we both have fully remote jobs now, so that part isn't really an issue.

Have you looked at or thought about a condo? Plenty of first time home buyer programs too that can help with the down payment, as little as 5% down.

We're all young at heart we'll have to figure something out but we're a bit immature still lol. I also know some card shops so there's a good group in RI, Reality A gaming in west Warwick is also nice for boardgames and they do events like drafts for mtg and I believe they have a star wars tabletop game they've been running on Wednesdays but my schedule doesn't allow for it personally so I don't know all the details for that just that the set up for it looked really cool so if you like star wars as well ask about that

There were major rate hikes for gas and electricity that started effective Nov. 1. It’s going to be like this all winter.

I'll ask around and see if I know anyone else interested, my group is mid to late twenties and all like boardgames and we've gone to the Lego store to make Minifigures together which was a lot of fun

Part of me just says get a standalone system so you don't have the limitation but it's expensive up front.
