John Bull apprenticed at the John Stevens Shop which was found in Newport in 1706 and operates to this day. The current owner, Nick Benson is a third generation stone carver who did the lettering for the MLK, Jr memorial in DC. His father, Fudd Benson, did the lettering for the JFK Memorial at Arlington National Cemetery. Amazing artists.

Reply to Flashing Yellow School Zone Speed Signs Should be Mandatory Alongside Zone Cameras by BiffBiffkenson
Im not exactly sure what you are trying to say here. I know Goff on Newport Ave in Pawtucket still has the yellow flashing lights. I can't say for certain if other schools have those lights but I know every speed camera has large neon signs that warn you of the cameras. Even the red light cameras have signs to warn you. While I agree that the cameras seem more about the money then safety, they do seem to give you enough of a warning of there presence.

The bright yellow school zone sign isn’t enough? Just be a better driver, leadfoot.

You could also choose the option for the premium being higher than whatever this year’s percentage of your income they’ve decided on. They don’t check on that.

High end price wise. Make a reservation at Gracie’s.
Want to spend less but want a high end experience go to the East End.
Want relatively affordable and good food and whiskey/beer but quiet go to Durks.

Might be helpful if you shared which kind... but I agree with another poster, the largest selection of mushrooms I've seen are at the farmers markets

If the kind you’re looking for aren’t illegal to posses then people have offered great recommendations already.
If they are illegal to posses you should not be using this Reddit to locate them. That’s stupid.

Dave’s market or the Winter farmers market. RI mushroom company.
If you are looking for non grocery/cooking based mushrooms. You’re on your own.

It's small, but good, and fairly priced fish.

Tropic Isle has been on a steady downward trajectory over the past decade, IMO. They're on their 3rd location now and still most of the tanks are barren. I work near there and drop by every couple of weeks, but still haven't bought livestock there in years. Good for dry goods thought.

Desperate to have a Sarah to carry on the name. Sad how many died along the way.
My own grandmother had 12 births, with 8 surviving, last one in '29.

You have clearly never driven down the private Center of New England road. Private owners don't shell out money to fix roads that people need to, or are accustomed to, use regularly. Acting like private companies who are beholden to shareholders will do the "right" thing is ridiculous.
