Can anyone give an update on this? It would be really interesting if she isn't here anymore.

Duh! Trillo didn't run in primary. Patricia Morgan did. No voters went to Gina based on Trillo's talking points about Fung I can assure you.So if she had 50+, Trillo was not a factor

We get downvotes for speaking the truth about a vial man, who is corrupt along with his family.

Tire pressure monitoring IS emissions-related.

If you’re waiting at a regular stop (not like KP or the train station) you may need to wave at the driver or be really visible. By contrast, it is polite, though not necessary, to shake your head to let the drivers of buses you aren’t taking know that they don’t have to stop.

Try pasting the article URL into http://archive.is — might be able to get around it

Because the nature of a primary is that candidates beat each other up. Did Trillo beat up Fung enough in the primary that it turned independent voters to Gina? There's a lot more than just math involved in elections.

Stops in Bristol too, which is cool. Awesome service that more people should be taking advantage of for sure. And it's relatively cheap, less than $30 round trip, IIRC.

I’ve lived here for years and somehow never knew there was a ferry to Newport. Now I have something to add to my summer list!

What does this have to do with correlation and/or causation? It is arithmetic. All challengers combined received 47% of the vote. Even if Fung got all Trillo votes he would have lost.Trillo was not a factor.

The R line is free! Take advantage of it. Be sure to thank the bus driver when you get off, but nothing special to it. Bus drivers here are usually really nice.

Oh! I hadn't heard, and I am in a couple of non-profits, and kind of keep an ear open for this stuff.
Dang, then I have to agree that Cicilline must have known the opening was coming. It adds to the credibility of the suggestion that he's miffed over being squeezed out of the Dem leadership in the new house.

This is true, and is why last year, CD2 was more competitive than it could have been.

Even ignoring that his upward mobiility in the party was effectively blocked AND his party lost control of the House, I don't think it's any mystery why a person would leave a job paying under $200,000 a year for a job that will pay north of a million.
It'd be more confusing if a person didn't make that move.

I’m a huge lover of the Cape. I grew up going down there for a week every summer. West Dennis is amazing, but Provincetown is absolutely fantastic as is Truro. You can go to the National Seashore and literally feel like you’re in Heaven.
