They sure are, but you said Exeter. Implying the Exeter PD was doing that, which is non existent.

If you meant the RISP, you would have said the State Police from the beginning, but you were wrong and now you’re trying to make it seem like you were right.

Exeter is possibly getting its own PD though, as it’s been entertained a few times during town council meetings. I hope they do.

Currently getting my Masters in Environmental Sustainability, from amu. Keep it up. It's a great focus and very much needed. What do you want to do in the field?

You will have to get a VIN check done on your car before you go to the DMV. There is a VIN check station on Phenix Ave in Cranston that is open Monday through Friday. You will need to pay $20 with check or money order.

Quotas exist but aren't named quotas. Police leadership judges a cops performance by how many tickets/arrests/interactions they have. Police are incentivized to write tickets, make arrests, and do investigatory detainments. Ticketing and arrests don't stop bad driving and crime. Ticketing and arrests only lead to profit for the state. If cops aren't ticketing and arresting, they aren't being productive in the eyes of police leadership.

So is there a quota? No. But there are consequences for not generating revenue such as missed promotions and benefits of "high performers".

Second RIC on here, used to work in the admissions office there, and they have a dedicated JAA officer there, usually would refer people to This Site To check for equivalencies between schools (ones that automatically transfer) BUT if you speak to admissions they will handle things on a case by case basis

The lane merge leading into West Shore Rd off of Hoxie has to be the closest I'll ever get to an IRL thunder dome.

I've almost been ran off the road and forced into the breakdown lane for at least a couple hundred feet a few times in the past because yet another jackass F150 refuses to let me merge in front of them, even after following all protocol for a zipper merge. I'm never not shocked at the sheer, aggressive stupidity that that intersection brings out in people.

A friend of mine is a prof there, though not in your program.

Get to know your professors! They can be helpful if you have a problem, plus also they are awesome folks. And they often know of good opportunities, or can help recommend you for things.

Remember: they are called "teach-ers," not "fail-ers" -- they want you to learn and succeed!

That's the way to do it! Again, congrats -- someone else said it, but CCRI is very under appreciated. It's such a great place to learn, and the campus atmosphere is great, too. Also, I highly recommend keeping RIC in mind if you decide on continuing to a four-year degree, if keeping your loans down is a priority. URI and PC are great, but markedly more expensive.

Thank you! I have felt so sad about these environmental disasters and I really want to be active in helping, this is something I’ve gone back and forth on forever since I have a degree that I haven’t used at all, but I’m hopeful I’ll find an internship that will lead to employment and hopefully allow me the opportunity to travel and help people/planet.
