That’s amazing to hear! I’m always worried I’m going to choose something with no demand. I already have one degree collecting dust. I’m not fully sure yet. I’m leaning toward coastal related, but I have my master gardener certification and have a huge interest in native plants and mycology as well. I’m hoping to figure it out once I’m exposed to different opportunities.

Because I’d rather have a consistent police force instead of whomever is working for the RISP. As they move to different barracks and are promoted, you’ll just get the latest group of fresh Troopers to replace them.

Where as with a local department, you’ll have consistency with its force. You’ll develop relationships and knowledge of the town and its people.

Like having your local beat cop who knows everyone and knows who does what.

Honestly I'm a fan of Warwick. Every time I've been down there the people are chill, it's a nice blue collar town. Looks like general consensus is air pollution is a big concern...That would honestly be enough to eliminate the area for me, bummer. I really wouldn't take what others who live & have lived there for a while say about this - lightly.

And RI cops are so honest and upstanding that they require an archaic yet ironclad Officers Bill of Rights - you know, to make driving around and shooting at teenagers safe again. Banned quotas…..okay guy, you telling me they don’t place wagers during their Bud Light marathons every Saturday In Pawtuxet Village?

Ah yes, the Exeter State Police. Also known as the RISP.

The state PD that operate within the town of Exeter only do so for dispatched calls. So a B&E, assault, larceny, etc. if they’re not doing exactly that; they’re just normal state PD.

No RISP Trooper is assigned to operate for the town of Exeter like how the CT SP do with their town Troopers. So you’re just complaining about RISP being RISP, who are notorious for being heavy handed everywhere.

And the Charlestown issue was ‘16 or ‘17, not COVID.
