The layout of the city itself has always felt like older Florida cities. Some of the architecture as well.

Casey's was the best!! It was in my town (SK) and we went there all the time, but being a teen and URI student were the best years! 💙🐏⚓️

South County has a ton of great restaurants.
Matunuck oyster bar is great seafood, and I think fairly priced for the quality of food you’re getting.
Bike stop in Narragansett has great pizza (and other non-pizza items).
Plum Pt Bistro is another good one.

Because the people who generally support these things don't work for a living.

Great Northern BBQ has Wing Wednesday. Order a pound, get half a pound free!
Comes with homemade ranch/blue cheese, and homemade pickles and slaw... 100000% worth it.

Wild Wing Wednesdays at Pizza Coin in Providence. $1 per wing. Not the cheapest special, but they're really good and the owners are super nice people too.

Sunrise Viet in Middletown is a small hole in the wall that is fantastic and my Vietnamese friend said it's pretty authentic.

I live in Warren, and grew up a mile away in Swansea, MA. I've lived all over, and Warren may be my all-around favorite. That being said, the town governance needs to be purged starting with the town manager. They're criminally bad at everything.

I like the Back 40 in North Kingstown. Food is good and interesting. They have a good beer selection too. Also feels like the only place open after 9:30 anymore.
I think the Cornerstone Pub in Exeter has food that's a cut above your typical bar fare.
In terms of overrated, I wish that I didn't feel ripped off every time I leave The Bridge in Westerly. It's such a great location that I want it to be worth it, but the bill at the end never really matches up to the experience.
Right across the way, though, it Bogue's Alley, a fantastic little deli, though technically it is across the state line in Pawcatuck.

I like the soup they make at Tom's Market in coventry. They have basic chicken noodle, but the chicken escarole is where it's at!

That's a great idea! Thank you. An no, I was thinking of just having the normal novelty ice cream bars, no lemonade (I don't want to step on anyone's toes)
